Every man should have a navy suit in his closet. The color navy goes with almost every shirt and tie combo…most anyone would argue there are more applications than a black or gray suit. It’s also very versatile: a navy suit can be dressed up for business or worn more casually for a weekend social event (dinner on the boat anyone??). No matter if you get a suit off the rack or personal attention at Saks, get a good tailor and have your suit altered specifically for your body. I wore a Varvatos suit to a wedding in the fall (although brown, not navy) and they make GREAT suits. Only needed to have the sides brought in on the jacket. Highly recommend their clothes.
